A winery in South Tyrol that boldly and independently explores and crosses boundaries – without ever losing respect for nature, people, and animals. On the contrary – we honor them and place them at the center of everything we do.

Because our goal is to capture the best of nature in every bottle, to inspire thought, and to show that high-quality winemaking is possible in a completely different way.

MARLENE & THOMAS

Together with our team, we are the winery “Thomas Niedermayr.” In the mid-80s, Thomas’s father Rudi took a pioneering step into organic viticulture. This decision laid the foundation we have been working with for over a decade – and continue to refine with dedication.

You can buy a product because it’s trendy, in vogue, or hyped. You want it instantly – no matter where it comes from.

Or you choose a product because you truly appreciate it, because you understand its value and know what makes it unique – because you know its origin and how it came to be. Our philosophy? Without a doubt: the latter.

WINE

AS EXCHANGE

For us, wine is an expression of joy and pleasure. It creates connection and exchange, allowing us to fully experience life – even before it reaches the bottle. From planting the vine to pouring the wine into the glass – every step is a contribution to the bond between people and nature, to open and honest exchange, and to mutual respect.

That’s why we make wine – to bring people together, to strengthen networks across cultural and geographic boundaries, and to appreciate life in all its facets.

Our way of working is rooted in deep knowledge and continuous progress. Thomas's father Rudi laid the foundation – now it’s up to us to refine and expand that knowledge.

To move forward, we must keep pushing boundaries. Change is the only constant. Facing new challenges, learning, and engaging in dialogue is key to consistently improving our quality. Because if everything runs too smoothly, we end up going in circles.

FARM RESTAURANT

A new place for exchange, enjoyment and natural taste is being created on our farm: the restaurant of Gloria and Georg - Thomas' brother and his older brother's wife - is where culinary art meets origin.

What is served here follows the philosophy of the farm: regional, conscious, handcrafted. The ingredients come from the farm's own cultivation or from loyal and carefully selected partners in the surrounding area. The focus is on the connection between people, nature and culinary delights - and what results when you take your time.

The restaurant will become part of our everyday life - and an expression of what is important to us.
