STORY:
We planted our first Souvignier Gris vines in 2006 – at a time when the variety was still largely unknown. Today, it’s one of the most exciting grapes in our portfolio. Versatile, expressive, always with a precise acid profile and elegant restraint.

Perfect for an aperitif on the terrace. A wine that makes the first sip easy and leaves you wanting more.

Classically South Tyrolean: Speck, Schüttelbrot, mountain cheese. Or simply a plate of Schlutzkrapfen – just like Mama makes.

SITE & SOIL:
Eppan, between 270 and 400 m a.s.l. Loamy, calcareous, deep soil with a high content of white dolomite rock.
HARVEST & VINIFICATION:
Carefully handpicked on 16 and 17 August 2022. Gently destemmed, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts. Aged for 12 months on full lees in large wooden barrels, followed by 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in May 2024. Further bottle aging followed.
